Alan McCormack is an ex-professional footballer with 19 years playing experience, 530 professional games and an impressive 5 promotions throughout the football league. After retiring as a player, Alan quickly transitioned into coaching, leveraging his vast experience and football knowledge. He has dedicated himself to nurturing young talents and developing their skills, sharing his insights and passion for the game. Alan’s coaching journey has seen him work at different levels, including youth academies and grassroots programmes, where he strives to instil the values of teamwork, discipline, and technical excellence in his players. This elevated him to becoming Luton Town FC U18 head coach where he continues to encourage, develop and enhance the next generation in football.

As a head coach for Luton Town FC. Alan has spent much of his time studying how to develop young footballers into becoming elite players. He is convinced the small playing area of Futsal is definitely giving players an advantage. Academy players who played Futsal from a young age showed high technical ability, fast feet and quick decision-making. Alan and his team are focused on delivering high-level, high-intensity coaching during the sessions which will include;

Small-sided games: We believe that Futsal’s magic lies in quick decision-making and close-quarters gameplay. That’s why our sessions emphasise small-sided games, allowing players to experience the fast-paced, dynamic nature of futsal and sharpen their tactical acumen,.
